Option 1: 10th pass + 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Fire.
Option 2: 12th pass (regular study) with a valid Driving License.
Driving License Requirements
Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License; OR
Valid Medium Vehicle License issued at least one year before the date of advertisement (i.e., 01/11/2024); OR
Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) License issued at least two years before the date of advertisement (i.e., 01/11/2024). Note: Candidates with Medium or Light Motor Vehicle Licenses will be required to acquire a Heavy Duty Driving License within one year of appointment, before completing their probation period. If they fail to obtain the Heavy Duty Driving License, their probation will be extended for one more year, and they will not be confirmed. Their increments will also be withheld. No further extension will be granted beyond two years, leading to termination of service.
Temporary/Learning License will not be accepted.
Eye Sight Requirements
Distance Vision: 6/6 with each eye without glasses.
Near Vision: N-5 with each eye without glasses. (Visual evaluation is for each eye individually)
Colour Vision: Should be normal as determined by Ishihara’s charts.
Night Blindness: Absent.
Field of Vision: Each eye should have a full field of vision as determined by the confrontation test.
Refractive Error: No refractive error will be accepted. Note: Color blindness and/or night blindness will be a disqualifying factor.
