Indian Bank Authorised Doctor on Contract Basis Recruitment Notification 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • The applicant must possess an MBBS degree from any recognized university in the Allopathic system of medicine, recognized by the Medical Council of India.

  • Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in any hospital or as a Medical Practitioner.

Remuneration and Working Hours

  • The remuneration for the Bank’s Medical Consultant (on a contract basis) will be fixed.

  • The Medical Consultant is required to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, with fixed timings, spread across the working days at the Bank’s premises.

Contract and Empanelment

  • The empanelment/contract will be for three years, with performance reviews conducted on a half-yearly basis.
  • The term may be extended on mutually agreeable terms and conditions between both parties.

Review and Alterations by the Bank

  • The Bank reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration periodically and modify the duty/working hours, or change the office location at its discretion to meet administrative and operational requirements.

  • The selected candidate must sign a contract agreement with the Bank before being engaged as the Authorized Doctor (on a contract basis) with a fixed monthly honorarium.
