Indian Navy Short Service Commission (SSC) in Information Technology (Executive Branch) Recruitment Notification 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 60% marks in English in Class X or XII.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have a minimum of 60% overall qualifying marks in one or a combination of the following:
- (a) MSc / BE / B Tech / M Tech in any of the following fields:
- Computer Science
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Information Technology
- Software Systems
- Cyber Security
- System Administration & Networking
- Computer Systems & Networking
- Data Analytics
- Artificial Intelligence
- OR
- (b) MCA with BCA/BSc in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Age Limit: The candidate must be born between 02 Jul 2000 to 01 Jan 2006.

Indian Navy SSC in Information Technology (Executive Branch) Post Vacancy 2024: How to Apply
Candidates are required to register and fill out the application on the Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in starting from 29th December 2024. To save time during the application submission window, candidates are encouraged to fill in their details and upload documents in advance. The process for online submission is outlined below:
- (a) Filling the e-application:

- Ensure you have all relevant documents ready to correctly fill in the application.
- Personal particulars should be filled in as per the details on your Matriculation Certificate.
- Fields such as e-mail address and mobile number are mandatory and must be filled.
- Aadhar Card issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is required.
- (b) Required Documents for Upload:
- Scanned copies of all relevant documents in JPG/TIFF format, including:
- Mark sheets (for candidates appearing in the final year):
- For regular and integrated BE/B.Tech courses (up to 5th & 6th semester, respectively).
- All semesters for candidates who have completed their degree.
- Date of birth proof (as per 10th and 12th certificate).
- CGPA conversion formula for BE/B.Tech candidates.
- NCC ‘C’ certificate issued by the National Cadet Corps (if applicable).
- A recent passport-size colour photograph.
