Young Professional-I (YP-I): Agricultural Economics/Agricultural Extension

• Graduate degree in Agriculture
• Specialization in Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Extension

Young Professional-I (YP-I): Agricultural Engineering

• B.Tech. degree in Agricultural Engineering
• 4 years of study from a recognized university/institution

Laboratory Attendant

• 12th grade pass with a science background
• Desirable:
  • Diploma in Agricultural/Mechanical Engineering
  • OR ITI in Fabrication, Fitter, Machinist, Turner, Mechanic Agriculture Machinery, Mechanical Engineering/Technician

NISA Young Professional-I (YP-I) and Laboratory Attendant Post Vacancy 2025: How to Apply

• For Positions at Serial Number 1 and 2:
  Eligible candidates are advised to submit the following documents:

  • Declaration form (Annexure-II)

  • Scanned copies of original documents

Shortlisting and Interview Process

• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted through email and are required to attend an offline interview on the scheduled date.

• Interview Venue:
  ICAR-National Institute of Secondary Agriculture, Namkum, Ranchi-834010, Jharkhand

• Important Documents for Interview:
  Shortlisted candidates must bring:

  • A copy of the submitted application form

  • Original testimonials for verification

• Note: If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims, their candidature will be rejected immediately.

Position and Appointment Details

• Nature of Position:
  The above positions are temporary and coterminous with the projects.

• Contract Period:
  Initial appointment for 1 year, extendable based on satisfactory performance.

• No Claim to Regular Appointment:
  The selected candidate shall not claim any regular appointment at ICAR or the Institute after the contract ends.

• Termination Clause:
  The competent authority reserves the right to terminate the appointment at any time, without notice or assigning any reason.

Declaration of Relatives Employed in ICAR-NISA

• Candidates whose near/distant relatives are employed at ICAR-NISA must declare it and submit the declaration in the format provided in Annexure II before the date of the interview.

Travel and Miscellaneous Conditions

• No TA/DA:
  The institute will not pay any travel or daily allowance to candidates attending the interview.

• Discipline and Performance:
  Failure to maintain discipline or perform duties satisfactorily will result in termination as per ICAR rules.

• Canvassing:
  Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.

Legal Jurisdiction

• In case of disputes, the matter will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Ranchi (Jharkhand) court.

Additional Test

A written qualifying test may be conducted before the interview, as decided by the competent authority.
