- Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering degree in Electronics from any recognized board/institute in India. Minimum of 60% marks required.
- GATE 2024 Score Card is mandatory.
- Age Limit: Maximum Age: 28 years as of 19.12.2024.
- Age relaxation as per applicable rules.

How to apply for Trainee Engineer (Electronics) Online Form 2024
- Interested and eligible candidates must register online on the POWERGRID website https://www.powergrid.in, even if they have applied for other posts or recruitment processes earlier.
- Candidates must provide their GATE-2024 Application No., GATE 2024 Registration Number, and other required details during the registration.
- Important: The GATE Registration No. must be entered exactly as it appears on the GATE-2024 Admit Card/Score Card. No other number should be used. Once the application is submitted, no changes to the GATE-2024 Registration Number or Name will be entertained.
- Ensure that your name and details match exactly as mentioned in your GATE-2024 Admit Card/Score Card.
- Only online applications will be accepted. No other mode of submission will be considered.
- Candidates must have a valid email ID, alternate email ID, and mobile number before registering. These details are mandatory for communication during the recruitment process. If a candidate does not have a valid email ID, they must create a new one before applying.
- The email ID and mobile number entered in the application should remain active for at least one year.
- After completing the registration, candidates should apply by clicking the “Submit” button. If accepted, a unique Registration Number will be generated and displayed in the completed application form.
